Howard, Dorothy Jean, Jean, Mother, Guy, Dad, Judia Faye, and Roy   Guy and Mother (Note the wings pinned on Mother)   Dad, Howard, Guy, and Roy   On April 18, Guy departed from Abilene bound for Melbourne, Florida to begin Operational and Land Based Carrier Training. Howard recalls that during this leave the bath tub was not available because Roy was soaking wood slats in it for a canoe he was building.
